Bras wrinkle due to a combination of factors like incorrect fit, poor construction, and overuse. These elements can create conditions that lead to visible fabric ripples across the cups.
Most wrinkling stems from either too much fabric in the wrong places (when cups are too large or too tall for your breast shape) or insufficient depth where your body needs space (when cups are too shallow or small), both of which prevent the fabric from lying smooth against your body.
The construction and materials also play a significant role. Molded foam cups can develop creases from heat exposure, compression during storage, or washing, while sewn cups may show seam puckering from manufacturing tension or fabric shrinkage after laundering.
