Why do bras shrink?

Bras shrink because heat and tumbling compress fibers and degrade the elastic materials that make your bra work so well. Damage happens when high temperatures break down elastane and nylon fibers that give your bra its stretch and recovery, while dryer heat can permanently distort molded foam cups, making them curl or feel smaller.

To combat this, we recommend hand washing with cool water and laying flat to dry.
